About Us

With over 30 years experience in all aspects of building, from the smallest projects to complete home building as a contractor, LPR Remodeling and Construction was started in 2021 as a way to bring old fashioned quality and fair pricing back into the business. After working for other builders and companies and then venturing off into the oilfield and IT world I was doing projects on the side and seeing how quality in carpentry is a rare thing anymore. Many builders don't seem to care about square corners or flush joints and so after much consideration and prayer, I decided to start a company that would bring back the quality work that people deserve to have in their homes and to bring back fair pricing. After hurricanes and floods it seems that contractors come into the coastal areas for a short time and price gouging, doing the job as quickly as possible in order to get paid with very little concern for quality has become the norm. That being said, as we get up and running we are working to build a network of like minded quality oriented contractors and builders.

L.P.R. is the abbreviation for Lonesome Pine Ranch which is where I make my home in South Texas. I spend the majority of my time in Lafayette Louisiana and have considered it my second home for the last 10 years.
